Everyone makes mistakes, especially when it comes to spelling. However, it doesn’t justify the fact that Donald Trump, with more than 1.07 million followers on twitter, had made one in his first tweet as the president. In Allan Fallow’s article, “Spelling’s not for everyone, Mr. Precedent,” Fallow describes the importance of spelling in publication. He implies that not only does it seem unprofessional as readers would deem it humorous, it also depicts your lack of caution. It’s important to review and check what you write, especially when you’ll have millions seeing your work, rather than brushing it off without a thought due to your lack of care. As Fallow stated, “Think before you speak. And definitely before you tweet.”
